For those staying in other accommodation than La Terraza Atico:

Painting & Sketching

Monday to Friday classes start at 9.30am to 1.30pm subject to season. Location details will be sent to you the day before by email. It is your responsibility to let La Terraza Atico have a working email address in order to contact you.

In the event of adverse weather conditions tuition will be held indoors.

Art Materials

All your art materials are included.

Food

A packed lunch is provided – with wine if requested.

For those staying at La Terraza Atico:

Saturday 11am

Food

Continental breakfast from 8.30am for the duration of your stay unless otherwise requested.

Light lunch en Casa or picnic provided if out on location. Wine included if desired.

We do not provide supper and encourage guests to explore Barcelona and the many wonderful restaurants and tapas bars.

PLEASE inform us of any dietary needs or allergies and we will do our best to accommodate you. Vegetarians welcome.

Kitchen may be used to make tea and coffee, but please ask.

Laundry

We do not offer a laundry service.

House Keys

A set of house keys will be allocated to you should you wish. We ask you for a deposit of €50, refundable on return of keys at the end of your stay.

Flights

Flights are not included in the price.

Airport Transfers

Airport transfers are not included in the price.

Illness

Please make sure that you have adequate travel insurance for illness. You should definitely obtain a European Health Insurance Card if you have an EC passport (EHIC) – which will cover you for any emergencies in Spain.

For UK citizens call the Overseas Healthcare Team on 0191 218 1999 or apply for a free card online at www.ehicard.org.uk This will cover you for NHS treatment whilst in Europe.

Your own insurance policy must cover the eventuality of accident/illness/death and any repatriation costs.

Deposit and Balance

A non-refundable deposit/booking fee of £300 per person (£200 if staying in other accommodation) will be required to confirm a place on our course either by on-line/manual bank transfer (we will give you account details by e mail when you book) or PayPal which will incur a 4% Paypal fee. (Please note you do not require a Paypal account to pay by Paypal. We will send you a Paypal money request. They will accept most credit and debit cards online).

The balance is due 2 weeks before start of your course by one of the payment methods above.

If your booking is made 2 weeks or less before the start date of your course the full amount will be payable at the time of booking.

Receipt of a deposit does not imply acceptance of a booking. La Terraza Atico will confirm acceptance of your booking in writing.

Cancellation

Payments once received normally can not be refunded. We recommend that clients take out appropriate travel/holiday cancellation insurance in case you can not attend.

In accordance with Trading Standards and Distance selling, you have 7 days from booking to cancel your booking for a full refund of your deposit.

Cancellation By Us

If, for some extraordinary reason we have to cancel,we will refund your money in full or offer you another date. Failure to pay the balance by this time will result in cancellation of your holiday and loss of your deposit.

Liability

La Terraza Atico accepts no liability for loss of goods or accidents whilst on your painting course or holiday. Please make sure you have adequate travel insurance.
